Molecular biology and hair
Since the beginning of this century, major progress has been made in understanding the reproductive cells of the hair follicle and hair. Until recently, we were unable to identify the negative information that androgens transmitted to hair follicles in the case of androgenetic alopecia but you could see the damage.
Researchers have now discovered a number of molecules that are essential for hair production, but which are likely to be destroyed by androgens in the course of the life cycle of a hair. They were also able to identify the different times in the cycle when these hormones thin the hair and cause it to fall out prematurely.
TWO NEW CLAUDERER BIO COMPLEXES
The Centre Clauderer devotes 5 % of its turnover to Research and Development. Drawing on the discoveries of molecular biology, its laboratory has developed 2 exclusive bio-complexes which inhibit androgens at each phase of the hair cycle, freeing the hair production molecules from their harmful influence. This counteracts the damage caused by these hormones with unprecedented effectiveness. Read the Clauderer Approach Treating the three vital functions of hair.
The two Clauderer complexes are a response to strong market demand. Women and men suffering from hair loss are increasingly turning to natural molecules. This is a major trend, as the only two molecules approved by dermatologists to combat hair loss (minoxidil and finasteride) are synthetic and all too often accompanied by particularly undesirable side-effects.
